With close to 1,250 seats in the big auditorium and 400 in the “Club,” Capitol Theater is the largest theatre in the capital city of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The theatre is a former streetcar depot that was re-modelled at the beginning of the 1990s into a venue for both musical and live entertainment. With its brick architecture, the theatre retains a charm all its own and is a substantial element in the cultural diversity of Düsseldorf.
