New Victoria Theatre

New Victoria Theatre

Woking

The New Victoria Theatre was opened by Oliver award-winning actor Sir Nigel Hawthorne in 1992. The theatre was launched with Christopher Gable’s production of Swan Lake from Northern Ballet Theatre, a company, now known as Northern Ballet, who have gone on to become an annual visitor with a string of unique and successful productions.

The theatre has become one of the most successful touring venues in the UK presenting pre and post West End runs. Boasting one of the largest and deepest stages in the area, the theatre is an ideal venue to host and experience large-scale musicals, dance productions, operas and pantomimes.

The reputation of the venue has meant world renowned theatre companies have graced the stage including Glyndebourne, National Theatre, English National Ballet, Rambert, Northern Ballet and Matthew’s Bourne’s New Adventures and they continue to grace the Woking stage on a regular basis along with many of the UK’s top touring shows.  Woking is a key regional touring house with a strong reputation and following from its regular audiences.

Seating capacity: 1301
