Converted into a studio space in 1994, the Studio at New Wimbledon Theatre is an access friendly space with flexible seating. Originally housing a ballroom, legend has it that Fred & Adele Astaire once danced here.
We aim to programme the best new and unknown names side by side with the most established acts performing today, staging annual Edinburgh Fringe previews as well as work-in-progress shows across the year. We relish new writing, comedy, music and children’s theatre. As a part of the small-scale touring circuit we provide a London base for national touring companies, as well as being a home for stand-alone productions.
