The Teatro Apolo was originally opened under the name Teatro Progreso (after the square in which it’s situated). It was reopened in 1987 as the Nuevo Apolo, sharing dance, concerts, musicals and plays including “Singing in the Rain“, “Chicago” and the first version in Spain of “Los Miserables” with the local community.
