Theatre Royal Brighton

Theatre Royal Brighton

Brighton

This important Grade II listed building is one of the oldest working theatres in the country. Although it has been constantly upgraded and altered, it retains many historic features including an exquisite auditorium dating from the 1860s.

The theatre has always been a first choice for producers trying out plays prior to a West End run. The greatest stars of the twentieth century from Laurence Olivier and John Gielgud, to Marlene Dietrich and Rex Harrison appeared here.

Recently the theatre has presented Sir Ian at 80, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and Jennifer Saunders in Blithe Spirit

Seating capacity: 969
